Theย BIMP-EAGA-ROK Cooperation Fund (BKCF) 2025 is now open for funding applications, offering a significant opportunity for Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) faculty members and researchers to secure grants for impactful projects.
Established in 2021 by the Republic of Korea, BKCF aims to support inclusive and sustainable growth in the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). The fund prioritizes research and development in four key sectors:
๐น Environment โ Green growth, renewable energy, water & waste management, climate-smart agriculture, and bioeconomy.
๐น Tourism โ Sustainable tourism development and related infrastructure.
๐น Connectivity โ Low-carbon transportation, digital transformation, and trade facilitation.
๐น Agriculture & Fisheries โ Food security, agro-fisheries development, and sustainable livelihoods.

Funding Opportunities
BKCF provides grants under the following schemes:
*One-year projects: USD 100,000 โ 500,000
*Two-year projects: USD 200,000 โ 500,000
*Multi-country projects: Maximum of USD 250,000 per country

Eligibility & Application
Faculty members and researchers from academic institutions in BIMP-EAGA countries (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines) and the Republic of Korea are encouraged to apply.
