In general, the purpose of the Scientific Publication Incentive Program at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) is to foster research excellence, enhance the institution's academic reputation, and stimulate effective knowledge dissemination. By providing incentives for high-quality research publications, the program aims to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, support solutions with societal impact, and nurture the professional development of faculty members and researchers, aligning with UIII's vision of contributing to a better world through postgraduate education and exceptional research.
General Requirements
The general requirements of this program are as follows:
- Applicant is a Civitas Academics of UIII.
- The proposed article or book has been published in the last 2 (two) years (without revisions or with minor revisions).
- Applicant must be the First author/Correspondence/Co-Author on the proposed scientific publication by including UIII as the affiliation.
- The proposed scientific publication has never received and is not currently receiving incentive funding.
- The proposed scientific publication is not funded through UIII Research Grant.
- The proposed scientific publication must be in line with the applicants’ field of science and expertise.
- The publisher, as well as the journal, are not included in the list of suspected predatory journals (Beall’s List).

- Fill out the form by accessing the Directorate of Research and Strategic Cooperation website when the publication incentive funding program has been opened.
- Screenshot of the journal Impact Factor.
- Book cover or first page of the book.

Procedure
The procedure for implementing scientific publication incentives is as follows:
a. Applicants must fill out the form via website.
b. If more than one author of the same manuscript wishes to apply for the incentive, each of them must individually submit their incentive application separately.
c. The Directorate of Research and Cooperation Team will verify the documents submitted by the applicant.
d. The Directorate of Research and Cooperation passes the nominee to the Rector for approval. The decisions are absolute.
e. Directorate of Research and Cooperation announces the incentive recipient.
f. The Directorate of Research and Cooperation will disburse the incentives through UIII financial department.
