Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) is a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH) that has a role in implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education, conducting studies in the context of scientific and policy development, and assisting the government in carrying out a number of diplomatic missions. Based on Government Regulation No. 23 of 2019 concerning the Statute of the International Islamic University of Indonesia, UIII has a vision of "the realization of a better world through postgraduate education and excellent research", where one of its missions is "to develop innovative research and contribute to the development of science and the welfare of society".
UIII is committed to conducting research programs that have a character in the form of a balanced blend of religious values, Indonesia’s values, and a diversity of paradigms to find the truth and uphold human values. As a newly established university, UIII will continue to strive optimally to encourage and facilitate research activities to improve the quality of research and programs that will be held.
With the abovementioned considerations, UIII will give financial assistance to any UIII students and lecturers who wish to attend seminars, conferences, or symposiums in Indonesia and abroad in the Fiscal Year of 2024.
Requirements
The following are the requirements for funding seminars, symposiums, or scientific conferences:
1. The applicant is a Civitas Academica of UIII.
2. The applicant is a speaker or paper presenter affiliated with UIII.
3. The applicant can only get one funding a year.
4. The application should be submitted 2 (two) months before the conference date.
5. Applicants can receive disbursement pertaining to international conferences, seminars, or symposiums (abroad) after obtaining permission from the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.
6. Applicants must fill out the registration form for funding assistance here.
Documents
The following are required documents for seminars, conferences, or symposiums:
1. Acceptance letter/invitation letter issued by the event organizer
2. Budget Plan
3. Research paper, proposal, script, or presentation file
4. Letter of Recommendation from the Dean.

Report
After completing conferences, seminars, or symposiums, applicants are required to submit all these reporting documents no later than 10 (ten) working days to the Directorate of Research and Strategic Cooperation UIII:
1. Ticket and boarding pass.
2. Proof of hotel, visa, and transportation costs.
3. Activity report and documentation.
4. Letter of Official Travel (SPPD).
